FROM THE PLAYGROUND TO PARTNERS

At Home and Décor PH, we believe that a beautiful home begins with a foundation of hope.

We are Lal and Dee, childhood best friends who grew up side by side in humble circumstances in Altavas, Aklan. We didn't have much growing up, but we had two things that changed everything: each other's friendship, and families who believed that education was our way forward.

Today, we run Home and Décor PH together. Though our work keeps us far from home, we have never forgotten where we started. Every year since 2023, we personally fund school supply drives for first graders in Altavas, Aklan, and with the dedicated help of Lal's family on the ground, we deliver these kits directly to the children who need them most.

Our hope is simple: to give these kids the same spark our own families gave us - the belief that with a pen, a notebook, and a dream, anything is possible.

OUR ANNUAL TRADITION: THE FIRST GRADE KIT

Every kit is personally funded by Lal and Dee, and hand-delivered by Lal's family in Altavas. While we manage the business from afar, Lal's family, led by the indispensable Mary, acts as our hands and feet on the ground, making sure every child receives their pack.

Every kit includes:

A school bag to carry their dreams
Pencils, sharpener, and eraser for every first word
Crayons and glue to add color to their ideas
Pencil case, ruler, and writing papers to stay organized and ready

OUR JOURNEY SINCE 2023

2023: Lumaynay Elementary School (Sangeay Annex), Talon Integrated School, and Tibiao Elementary School.

2024: Dina-ut Elementary School, Linayasan Elementary School (our alma mater), and Talon Integrated School.

2025: Dalipdip Elementary School, Quinasay-an Elementary School, and Lumaynay Elementary School (Sangeay Annex).

2026: Lumaynay Elementary School (Sangeay Annex), Talon Integrated School, Tibiao Elementary School, Quinasay-an Elementary School, and Dalipdip Elementary School - our largest outreach to date.
